My name is Dalton Pencarinha, and here’s a little bit about me.

When I was six I drew two dragons and a rainbow for a local art competition. It won me a 1st prize ribbon and a life long obsession of art.

My early interests fueled that creativity. From playing backyard D&D, drawing a grid of monsters and narrating our adventures, to being inspired by television shows like Stargate SG-1, Outlaw Star and Avatar: the Last Airbender. So much of what I create today ties back to the litany of sketchbooks I filled with drawings of characters from these worlds and many others.

Fast forward to today, and I’m still creating things that connect back to my childhood and beyond. I work for Wizards of the Coast as a Sr. Graphic Designer and Card Treatment Illustrator, where I conceptualize and illustrate showcase frames for Magic: The Gathering. Six year old me would be thrilled to learn that I’m still drawing dragons and rainbows.

Outside of my full-time career, I help creatives, local businesses, and entrepreneurs realize their goals through brand identity design. Additionally, I’ve created multiple illustrations for Magic: The Gathering and other freelance clients.
